About me and my practice
You might feel that you are in a constant battle with anxiety, that you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or that you are trying to come to terms with a life that is very different from what it was before.
Maybe you find it hard to admit that you need help and reach out for support, you feel you should be ok, but youre not.
Maybe you need that from someone outside of your circle or family and friends, to talk to.
Perhaps I can be that person for you?
Do you feel like everything is too much and youre just waiting for the next thing to go wrong?
Are you feeling like youve always been different and struggled to fit in?
Are you in a constant battle with anxiety and frustration?
Are you struggling in a current relationship or to move on from a previous relationship?
Has there been a big change in your life which it feels very hard to adjust to?
Do you find you cant sleep at night because you are plagued by worrying thoughts?
If any of these sound like you, I would like to help.
You may have feelings or have had experiences that are difficult or painful to talk about
You can share what you are feeling and thinking with me, without risk of feeling dismissed, that you are complaining or you are not worth someones time to listen.

Experience
We will work in a way that benefits you, with what you bring to our sessions, whether it is something you have already been thinking about or something that comes up during the session.
Together we can look at your life and experiences and how they may have shaped the person you are today and whether this has any influence on why you might be struggling now.
These are some of the challenges I have successfully supported clients with: OCD, CFS/Long COVID, chronic pain, dementia/cognitive disorder of family members, recovering from unhealthy relationships, being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world and work stress.
I have helped them to: stop feeling burned out, manage anxiety, take more time for themselves and not feel guilty about it, recognise their own needs and their right to have those needs met, gain hope for the future and enjoy life more

Initial Consultation
In our initial sessions, I will get to know you, how you are feeling and what has brought you to counselling.
I will also ask you general questions about your life and about your family and relationships with others.
We can talk about what you would like to improve in your life and see if we can identify what might be holding you back.
You are welcome to try a first session and see how you feel afterwards.
Fees
My fees are £55 per session or £310 for a block of six sessions
